Situation
A century-old company founded in 1912 underwent a generational leadership transition. The new leadership revisited the management philosophy and created ambitious international growth plans. Seeking collaboration, joint ventures, and acquisitions, the company wanted to connect with potential international partners.
Problem
Despite its rich history and family leadership, its core values and vision remained unarticulated. The absence of a compelling story hindered the family’s ability to inspire and attract partners that would be a natural fit.
Solution
Working closely with a consultancy firm, we embarked on a year-long journey to excavate their core philosophy, connecting it to performance and defining purpose, vision, and strategic direction. This transformative process ignited new energy and confidence in the young family entrepreneur. We then created a visual and vision-driven presentation, which helped him captivate European business leaders and started discussions of collaboration, joint ventures, and acquisitions.
Impact
The conversations that followed the presentation led to the formation of a new joint venture.
